This Privacy Policy explains how LimittedTube handles information when you use the iOS application and its supporting services.
Information We Process
- Administrator account: We store the administrator email address so the administrator can sign in and recover access.
- Password security: Passwords are processed for authentication and stored only as one-way password hashes. We do not store readable passwords.
- Password recovery: One-time reset-code hashes and expiration information are stored temporarily to complete a requested password reset.
- Technical data: Our hosting provider may process standard server logs such as IP address, request time, requested path, and device/browser information for security and service operation.
Information Stored on the Device
Approved-channel settings, daily viewing-limit settings, and viewing-time information may be stored locally on the device. LimittedTube does not use this viewing-time information for advertising.
YouTube Services
The app retrieves and plays content using YouTube services. YouTube and Google may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Review the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service.
How We Use Information
We use information only to provide administrator authentication, password recovery, approved-channel access, service security, troubleshooting, and core application functionality. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Retention and Deletion
Account information is retained while the administrator account is active or as needed to operate and secure the service. To request account-data deletion, contact us using the email below. Local application data can also be removed by deleting the app from the device.
Children’s Privacy
LimittedTube is intended to be configured and managed by an adult administrator. We do not knowingly ask a child to create an account or provide personal information.
Security
We use reasonable technical safeguards, including encrypted network connections and one-way password hashing. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are published.
